Armed Robbery (Suspects Arrested)
Warring Street and Channing Way

BPD crime report # 13-05873
On Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 1:34 a.m., a robbery occurred at the intersection of Warring and Channing. A 19 year old male, affiliation unknown, was standing at the intersection when he was approached by two males. One of the males, suspect #1, was armed with a gun and demanded the victim’s backpack, cell phone and wallet. The victim complied and the two suspects fled in a nearby car. UCPD and BPD searched the area for the suspects and the car. The suspects’ vehicle was stopped on Hwy 13 in Oakland and the occupants were taken into custody. The victim was not injured during the encounter.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 – A Black male, 21 years of age, 5’07 in height, 145 lbs., with brown hair and eyes, wearing a black sweater and dark jeans.
Suspect #2 – A Black male, 24 years of age, 6’01 in height, 230 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a dark shirt and dark jeans.
Suspect #3 (Driver) - A Black male, 22 years of age, 5’08 in height, 155 lbs., with brown hair and eyes.
