On Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 12:54 a.m. a robbery occurred at the intersection of Benvenue and Russell. The female and male victims, affiliation unknown, were walking near the intersection when they were approached by two males. One of the males produced a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The victims complied and gave the suspects their property, which included a wallet, purse and cell phones. The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The victims were not harmed during the encounter. BPD searched the area but was unable to locate the suspects.
The suspects were described as:
Suspect #1 – a Black male, in his late 20s, 6’3” in height, 180 lbs., wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect #2 – a Black male, in his late 20s, 6’0” in height, 170 lbs., wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. |
