Armed Robbery
UCPD crime report # 12-03930

2500 Block of Hearst Avenue
August 22, 2012

On Saturday August 18, 2012, at 11:33 p.m. an armed robbery occurred on the 2500 block of Hearst.  The victims, a 25 and a 30 year old male students, were walking on the sidewalk in front of Etcheverry Hall when a dark vehicle pulled up to the curb directly in front of them.  A male got out of the passenger side of the car and approached the victims.  The suspect spoke to the victims, then produced a semi-automatic hand gun and demanded the victims’ property.  The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene westbound on Hearst Avenue.  BPD and UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect or the dark vehicle.  The victims were not injured during the encounter.

The suspect is described as:

A Black Male, 20 to 25 years of age, 180 lbs., 6’ to 6’02” in height, wearing dark clothes.
