Strong Arm Robbery
2100 Block of Bancroft Way

On Thursday, August 2nd, 2012, at 9:03 p.m., a strong arm robbery occurred near the intersection of Bancroft Way and Fulton Street. The female victim, affiliation unknown, was approached by two males. One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s purse and both suspects fled the scene onto University property. BPD and UCPD were able to locate the suspects on the Grinnell Pathway and they were subsequently arrested. The victim was not injured during the encounter.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 – GATES, Teray Malcohm, a Black Male, 18 years of age, approximately 5’10” in height, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Suspect #2 – A Black Juvenile, 17 years of age, 5’10” in height, 154 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
