Robberies
BPD crime reports # 12-09867 & 12-10079

2300 Block of College Avenue and the 2300 Block of Dwight Way
February 29, 2012

BPD has recently advised UCPD of two robberies that occurred on February 23, 2012.

The first robbery, a strong arm, occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on the 2300 block of College.  The victim, a 30 year old female, affiliation unknown, was walking alone when she was approached by a male suspect who robbed her of her purse.  The victim was not injured during the encounter.  BPD searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

A Black male in his 20s, with a slim to medium build, a dark complexion, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

At approximately 8:20 p.m. a robbery occurred on the 2300 block of Dwight Way.  The 19 year old male victim, affiliation unknown, was walking when he was approached from behind by a male suspect on a bicycle who robbed him of his cell phone.  The victim was not injured during the incident.  BPD searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

A Black male, 17 to 21 years of age, 5’10” in height, with a medium build wearing dark clothing.
