Strong Arm Robbery
UCPD crime report # 12-00373

People's Park
January 26, 2012

On Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at approximately 8:55 p.m. a local emergency room reported to UCPD that they were treating a victim of a strong arm robbery which had occurred earlier in the day in People’s Park.  At approximately 2:00 p.m. the victim, a nonaffiliated 43 year old man, was sitting down and eating his lunch near the basketball courts when six unknown males approached him and asked him for money.  The victim told them he didn’t have any money.  The suspects proceeded to kick and punch the victim repeatedly in the ribs, face, neck and back and took his personal property.  The suspects left the park in an unknown direction.  The victim was treated for his injuries.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – A White male, with long hair and unshaven.

 Suspect #2 – A Hispanic male, with short hair wearing a red tank top.

Suspects #3-#6 – Unknown male suspects.
