Hillegass Avenue and Dwight Way
January 23, 2012

On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at about 10:18 p.m. a 19 year old affiliated male was at Hillegass and Dwight when he was approached from behind by a male who pointed a gun at him.  The suspect told the victim to drop the bags he was carrying.  The victim complied and a second suspect approached and took his wallet.  Both suspects fled northbound on Hillegass.  The victim was not injured during the encounter.  BPD and UCPD searched the area but could not locate the suspects.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – A Black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5’10” to 6’0” in height, 140-150 lbs., with a slender build, wearing dreadlocks, a black hooded sweatshirt, armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 – A Black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5’0” to 5’5” in height, 160-170 lbs., with a large build.  He walked with a distinct limp when fleeing.
