Armed Robbery
BPD crime report # 11-21390

Channing Way and College Avenue
April 20, 2011

On Monday, April 18, 2011 at approximately 10:55 p.m. a robbery occurred near the intersection of Channing and College.  The victims, two unknown affiliation females, were walking southbound on College when a car pulled up and stopped ahead of them.  A male got out of the passenger side of the car, pointed a gun at the victims and demanded their wallets.  One victim gave the suspect her wallet.  The other victim did not have a wallet.  The suspect took the wallet and got back in the car.  The car then fled the scene westbound on Channing Way.  The victims were not injured during the encounter.  BPD searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect or the car.

The suspect was described as:

A Hispanic or Black male in his late 20s, 5’10” to 6’0” in height, 180 lbs., with a heavy build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head and baggy jeans.

The car was described as a silver or white small four door hatchback style.
