Armed Robbery (Suspects Arrested)

2100 Block of Bancroft Avenue

 

November 24, 2010


On Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 2:27 a.m. BPD received a call of an armed robbery that occurred in the 2100 block of Bancroft Avenue. The male victim, affiliation unknown, was walking when he was  approached by the two suspects on foot. Suspect #1 brandished  what appeared to be a handgun but was later determined to be a B.B. gun. The suspects demanded the victim’s cash and cell phone. The victim complied and both suspects fled on foot west bound on Bancroft Avenue . Approximatley 15 minutes later, both suspects were detained by UCPD officers at the corner of Milvia Street and Durant Avenue. Both suspects were positively identified by the victim, and taken into custody by BPD.  Photos of both suspects may be provided at a later date.

The suspects arrested are:

Suspect #1 – Smith, Kristopher, a black male, 21 years old.

Suspect #2 – Jimerson, Angelo, a black male, 21 years old.
