University Village in Albany
November 18, 2010

A series of residential burglaries have recently occurred at the University Village in Albany.  Four of the burglaries were “hot prowls” because the residents were in the home at the time.

The first burglary occurred on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 3:42 a.m. in Building 113 via a window screen pry.  UCPD Case No. 10-03924

The next occurred on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 some time between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. at Building 130.  The means of entry was also via window pry.  UCPD Case No. 10-04195

On Monday, October 25, 2010 a burglary occurred between the 3:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. in an apartment on the 600 block of Gooding Way via an unlocked sliding glass door.  UCPD Case No. 10-04414

On Thursday, November 4, 2010 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. a burglary took place on the 700 block of Gooding Way via a sliding patio door.  UCPD Case No. 10-04554

On Saturday, November 16, 2010 a burglary took place some time between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6 a.m. to a residence at Building 114 via an unlocked front door.  The suspect took car keys and also burglarized the victim’s car.  UCPD Case No. 10-04757

There is no suspect(s) description at this time.
