Armed Robbery
BPD crime report # 10-044743

2500 Block of Durant Avenue

October 18, 2010

On Sunday October 17, 2010 at 3:05 a.m. an armed robbery occurred on the 2500 block of Durant.  The male victims, one seated in a car and the other standing next to the car, were parked in front of Top Dog eating hot dogs when they were approached by four males.  One of the suspects pointed a revolver at the victim standing outside of the car.  A struggle ensued and the suspect hit the victim several times with the revolver.  The second victim got out of the car to help the first victim but was struck in the face with the revolver.  The suspects took various personal items from the second victim and fled the scene.  BPD and UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.  Both victims, affiliation unknown, received injuries to the head and face but declined medical attention.    

The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1 – A Black male in his mid-20s, 6”1’ in height, 240 lbs., with heavy dreadlocks, wearing a white plaid shirt and dark jeans..

Suspects #2, 3 & 4 – Black males, no further description.
