| Virginia and Walnut Streets |
On Sunday, November 14, 2010, at 8:09 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at Virginia and Walnut. The victim, a 27 year old female affiliation unknown, was walking from a nearby store. As she came up to the intersection two males approached her from the southbound direction on Walnut. The first suspect demanded the victim’s purse while the second suspect grabbed it. The victim held on to the purse and she struggled until she saw that the first suspect had a gun. The suspect hit the victim several times on the hand with the gun. The victim fell to the ground losing her grip on the purse. The suspects were last seen fleeing with the victim’s purse. The victim sustained injuries to her hand and was taken to a local emergency room. BPD searched the area but was unable to locate the suspects.
The suspects were described as:
Suspect # 1 – A Black male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5’11” in height, approximately 160 lbs., clean shaven with a dark complexion, wearing dark baseball cap and dark clothing.
Suspect # 2 – A Black male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5’8” in height, approximately 160 lbs., with short black hair and wearing dark clothing. |
