Brandishing (Suspect Arrested)
BPD crime report # 10-64022

2700 Block of Channing Way

October 20, 2010


On Wednesday,  October 20, 2010, at 8:46 p.m. BPD responded to a report of a brandishing at a fraternity on the 2700 block of Channing Way.  The victim, a 27 year old affiliate, told BPD that a male had brandished a switchblade knife at him after being asked to leave the fraternity house. BPD searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.  The victim was not injuried during this encounter.  

Later in the evening BPD identified and arrested the suspect when they responded to a reported fight.

The suspect arrested is:       

SIGALA, Ruben Joseph, a 19 year old Hispanic male.
