Armed Robbery
2600 Block of Benvenue Avenue

BPD Case No. 10-55371

September 16, 2010

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 9:30 p.m. an armed robbery occurred on Benvenue near Parker.  The male victim was talking on his cell phone while trying to open his garage door when he felt someone try to grab his cell phone from behind.  The victim turned around and saw two suspects.  One suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone while the other suspect pointed a gun at him.  Both suspects fled the scene southbound on Benvenue in a light colored 4-door compact vehicle.  BPD searched the area but was unable to find the suspects or their vehicle.  The victim was not injured during the encounter.                                 

The suspects were described as:

Suspect # 1 – A White male, 18 to 20 years of age, 5’10” in height, with a thin build, wearing a black beanie cap, dark sweater and dark jeans.

Suspect # 2 – A Black male, 18 to 20 years of age, approximately 5’10” in height, with a thin build, black hair, wearing a dark hooded sweater, dark jeans and holding a silver handgun.
