Assault With Deadly Weapon
People's Park

UCPD case 10-03260
On Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 2:51 p.m. UCPD responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at People’s Park. UCPD arrived on the scene and found two unaffiliated victims, one a 27 year old white male and a 29 year old white female. The female victim got into an altercation with a subject over the disciplining of a dog. The female victim was then physically attacked by up to 20 people. The male victim started to help the female victim and was struck over the head with a skateboard. Both victims declined to give UCPD any further information regarding this incident. UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate any possible suspects. The male victim suffered a laceration to his head and fingers. The female victim suffered swelling to her face. Both victims declined medical treatment.
