Strong Arm Robbery
BPD crime report # 10-48773

Shattuck Avenue and Kittredge Street
August 16, 2010

On Friday, August 13, 2010, at 2:42 a.m. a strong arm robbery occurred on Shattuck near Kittredge.  The victim was walking on Shattuck listening to his iPod when he noticed three males walking in the same direction ahead of him.  When the victim passed the three individuals, one of them began walking next to him.   The suspect spoke to the victim.  As the victim removed his earphones the suspect sprayed pepper spray in his eyes.  The victim began to run.  The suspect caught up with victim and punched him in the head.  As the victim fell to the ground the suspect took his iPhone and iPod.  The victim suffered minor injuries during the encounter.

The suspect was described as:       

A Black male, 25 to 35 years of age, 5’10” in height, with a thin build, wearing short hair, no facial hair and possibly wearing a green long sleeved green shirt.
