UCPD crime report # 10-02149

People's Park
June 1, 2010

On Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 12:44 p.m. a UC employee contacted UCPD to report a fight in progress in People’s Park.  UCPD arrived on scene and found two unaffiliated White male victims of an assault with a deadly weapon.  The victims had been in an altercation with a male and female who pulled out a metal bar and a chain with two padlocks attached.  The suspects beat one of the victims about the head with the weapons.  When bystanders intervened the two suspects left the park walking on Dwight towards Telegraph.  A short time later the suspects were apprehended by BPD, positively identified by a victim and taken into custody.  One of the victims suffered a head laceration and was taken to Alta Bates Hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 - STROSNIDER, Christopher Edward, an 18 year old Hispanic male.

Suspect #2 – SCALES, Kenadee, an 18 year old White female.
