Attempted Armed Robbery
BPD crime report # 10-22435

1800 Block of Euclid Avenue
April 13, 2010

On Monday, April 12, 2010 at 8:45 p.m. an attempted armed robbery occurred on Euclid near Ridge. The male victim, affiliation unknown, was approached by the suspect who brandished a small semi automatic pistol and attempted to take the victim’s laptop. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the scene on foot westbound on Hearst and entered the Lower Hearst Parking Structure. UCPD and BPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim was not injured during the encounter.

The suspect is described as:

A Black male in his late teens to early 20s, 5’10-11” in height, wearing a shinny black jacket, a black baseball cap with a light colored emblem, a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
