| Two attempted robberies took place on April 2, 2001 on the south side of campus.
The first attempted strong arm robbery occurred on Channing between Shattuck and Fulton at 11:22 p.m. The male victim, affiliation unknown, was approached from behind by two suspects. One of the suspects punched the victim in the back of the head and demanded his property. The victim did not give the suspects his property and the suspects walked a way. The victim did not suffer any major injury.
A short time later the suspects approached another male victim, affiliation unknown. The victim became suspicious because the male suspect had a bandana covering his face and fled the area before the suspects could overtake him.
The suspects were described as:
Suspect #1 – a White male in his mid 20s, 6’0” in height with a thin build, wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans and a dark bandana.
Suspect #2 – a White female in her mid 20s, 5’5” in height, with a thin to medium build, with short platinum blonde hair and wearing a dark sweatshirt.
