Carjacking & Armed Robbery
UCPD crime report # 10-01297

Ellsworth Parking Structure
April 5, 2010

On Friday, April 2, 2010 at approximately 7:51 p.m. a carjacking and armed robbery occurred in the northwest quadrant of the Ellsworth Parking Structure. The victim, a White 56 year old non-affiliate, had just exited his car and was walking eastbound through the garage. He was approached by two males, one of which displayed a hand gun. The suspects demanded his car keys and property. The suspects took the victim’s car and were last seen exiting the north side of the garage. The stolen vehicle was found a short time later at the south end of the parking structure. BPD received a report of two males matching the description of the suspects speeding away from the Ellsworth Structure in an orange vehicle. UCPD and BPD searched the area but were unable to find the suspects. The victim was not injured during the encounter.

The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1 - A Black male, approximately 17 years of age, with a medium complexion, with a slender build and wearing a red hat with flaps.
Suspect #2 – A Black male, no further description.
