Armed Robbery
UCPD crime report # 08-01595

Unit 1

April 16, 2008

On Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at approximately 3:12 a.m. UCPD received a report of an armed robbery which had occurred a few minutes earlier at Unit 1. The victims, a 20 year old White male student and two 19 year old Asian male students, were sitting on a bench between Freeborn and Putnam Halls when they were approached by the male suspect who brandished a hand gun at them and demanded their property. The victims complied and the suspect left the scene walking eastbound on Channing Way. The victims were not injured during the encounter.

The suspect is described as:

A Black male, in his late 20s, 5’10” in height, with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and a goatee, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans with a bright colored pattern on the back pockets.
