Armed Robbery
UCPD crime report # 08-01487

Building 156, University Village Albany

April 10, 2008


On Thursday, April 10, 2008 UCPD received a report of an armed robbery which had occurred the previous night, Wednesday April 9th. At approximately 10:30 p.m. the victims, a 26 year old Asian male student and a 27 year old Asian female, were walking up the stairs to Building #156 in the University Village Albany when they where approached from behind by two males. The suspects demanded the victims’ property. The victims turned around and saw that both suspects were pointing guns at them. The victims gave the suspects their property. The suspects fled on foot towards Kula Gulf Way. The victims heard a car speed away shortly after the suspects fled toward Kula Gulf Way. The victims were not injured during the encounter.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 - A Black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8” in height, 120 to 140 lbs., with a medium brown complexion, wearing a dark green hooded jacket with the hood partially covering his face and head and wearing black pants.
Suspect #2 – A Black male, 5’7” in height, 120 lbs., wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with the hood partially covering his face and head and wearing unknown colored pants.
