Assault with a deadly weapon
UCPD crime report # 08-01086

Unit 3 Residential Complex

March 12, 2008


On Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:25 p.m. UCPD received a report of an assault with a deadly weapon which had just occurred in the Unit 3 courtyard. A short time earlier a fire alarm had been activated at Priestly Hall and the residents evacuated into the Unit 3 courtyard. As the residents stood in the courtyard bottles, containing urine were thrown at them from the upper floors of Ida Sproul Hall. None of the bottles struck the victims, but as the bottles hit the ground they broke splashing urine on nine (9) victims. UCPD Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. The victims did not sustain any injuries.
