On Thursday, March 6, 2008 at approximately 4:00 PM a 14-year-old-juvenile female was walking on Jackson Street when she noticed a man on a bicycle. The unknown male followed her onto Ohlone Way, rode up to her and made a lewd comment. The suspect fled the scene riding northbound on Ohlone then southbound on Jackson towards the recreation center.
The victim was not harmed during the incident. UCPD Officers searched the area and notified the Albany Police Department of the incident.
The suspect was described as:
A White male, late 30s early 40s, (previously described as 50 to 60 years of age due to scruffy appearance) dirty all over, with a skinny build, bushy eyebrows, a scraggly greying beard, wrinkles under eyes, crooked/missing teeth, normal size ears, last seen wearing a dirty base ball cap backwards, a dirty white short sleeve t-shirt not tucked into pants, dirty blue denim jeans with rips on the bottom of the pant legs, and riding a men’s mountain bike, with straight across handles and hand breaks, no water bottles attached and a basket or full bag mounted behind the bike’s seat.
