Armed Robbery

(Suspects Arrested)


Gayley Road

UCPD Case #08-00522


February 5, 2008

On Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 4:48 a.m. an 18 year old White male student was the victim of an armed robbery which occurred on Gayley Road near Stern Hall. The victim was walking southbound on Gayley when he noticed a male walking towards him on the opposite side of the street. The suspect crossed the street and approached the victim, threatened him with a knife and demanded money. The victim complied with the demand and the suspect left the scene walking northbound on Gayley. Moments later a UCPD BearWALK Community Services Officer (CSO) drove by and was flagged down by the robbery victim. The CSO radioed UCPD dispatch who contacted BPD with a description and location of the suspect. BPD stopped a person matching the description of the suspect on University Avenue. The individual was positively identified as the robbery suspect and was arrested. The victim was not injured during the encounter.

The suspect is described as follows:

WILSON, Jackie, a Black male, 26 years of age, with a goatee, wearing a black beanie, a blue puffy jacket and dark jeans with embroidery on the back.
