Hot Prowl Burglary
UCPD crime report # 08-00494

Rochdale Village Co-op

February 4, 2008


On Sunday, February 3, 2008 at approximately 3:00 a.m. UCPD responded to a report of a burglary in progress at the Rochdale Village Co-op located at 2424 Haste Street. The victim, a 20-year-old female Asian student, was sitting in her living room when she heard breaking glass in her bedroom and what appeared to be the noise of someone struggling with the bars on her window. The victim went to another apartment in the Co-op and called UCPD. UCPD arrived on scene and conducted a search of the area however they were unable to locate the burglary suspect. The suspect appeared to have reached his arm through the broken glass and the bars and taken the victim’s laptop, which was on her desk.

The suspect is described as:

An unknown race male with a light complexion wearing a black puffy jacket and a black beanie.
