Strong Arm Robbery

Haste and Ellsworth

December 20, 2006

On December 16, 2006 at approximately 11:07 p.m., Berkeley PD Officers responded to the area of Haste and Ellsworth regarding a strong-arm robbery that had just occurred. Two suspects approached a female UC student on the sidewalk west of the intersection, pushed her, and robbed her of her purse. The suspects fled the area westbound on Haste. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The victim described the suspects as:

Two Hispanic males, high school age, wearing white hoodies and light colored jeans.
