Armed Robbery

Dana Street & Bancroft Way

December 14, 2006

On Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 12:27 AM the Berkeley Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery on Bancroft near Dana.  The victim, a 21 year old UC student, was approached by three (3) male suspects.  One of the suspects had a gun and demanded the victim’s personal property.  The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene on foot heading towards Dana Street.  The victim was not hurt during the encounter.  BPD and UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described by the victim as:

Suspect #1 – A Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’8”in height, medium to large build, wearing a grey sweatshirt, and possibly a dark jacket.

Suspect #2 and #3 – There is no description of the suspects at this time.
