Robbery & Battery

Telegraph Avenue and Haste Street

November 27, 2006

On Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 4:10 AM a strong arm robbery and a battery occurred at the intersection of Telegraph and Haste. The victim, a 22 year old female, was walking on Telegraph when a vehicle containing 3 occupants pulled up next to her. One of the occupants, a Black male, got out of the vehicle and hit her in the head with his fist and took her personal belonging. He then got back in the vehicle which sped away traveling westbound on Haste. A possible 4th suspect was also seen on a white moped. UCPD and BPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects, the vehicle, or the moped. The vehicle was described as a brown older model (1970s) 4 door sedan. The victim was not seriously injured during the attack.

The suspects were described by the victim as:

Suspect #1 – A Black male, 14 to 15 years old, wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark hoodie.
Suspect #2 & #3 – There is no description.
Suspect #4 – A Black male, wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and riding a moped.
