Evans Hall

November 6, 2006

On Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 5:14 PM UCPD responded to a report of a robbery which had just occurred at the north-east exterior of Evans Hall.  The victim, a White male UC student, was walking near Evans Hall when he was approached by 2 Black males.  The suspects proceeded to asked for directions and then one of them punched the victim in the jaw knocking him to the ground.  The victim gave them his valuables and the suspects left the scene walking northwest through the passageway between O’Brien Hall and the Bechtel Engineering Center.  The victim used a blue light emergency telephone to summon UCPD.  Police Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects were described by the victim as:

Suspect #1 – a Black male, 20 to 24 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” in height, with a medium build and a round face, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.

Suspect #2 – a Black male, 5’8” to 5’10” in height, medium build, wearing medium length dreadlocks with light tips, a dark sweatshirt and jeans.
