Attempted Sexual Assault

2405 Fulton Street

October 2, 2006

On Wednesday, September 28, 2006, at 8:10 PM Berkeley Police Department responded to an attempted sexual assault which had just occurred at 2405 Fulton near Channing.  The victim was walking on Fulton when she was approached from behind by the suspect and thrown to the ground.  The victim fought back at which point the suspect fled northbound on Fulton.  BPD and UCPD searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim described the suspect as follows:

A Black male, 5’8” in height, 160 lbs., with a shaved or bald head, wearing a black “hoody” and blue jeans.
