On Tuesday, September 19th at approximately 11:29 PM, UCPD received a report of an armed robbery and carjacking which had just occurred behind Memorial Stadium on Stadium Rim Way north of Centennial Drive. The victims, a 20 year old White male and an 18 year old White female, were sitting in their parked vehicle when they saw two male individuals approaching their car. The two men walked up to the driver’s side window. One of the men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the male victim ordering him out of the vehicle. When the victims reached the Kleeberger Lot they borrowed a cell phone and dialed 911. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victims were not hurt during the incident. A search of the area was conducted by BPD and UCPD, however neither suspect was located.
