Strong Arm Robbery

Dana Street and Durant Avenue


September 11, 2006

On Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 2:12 AM the Berkeley Police Department received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the intersection of Dana and Durant near Unit III.  The victim, an 18 year old White male student, was approached by 4 Black males who threatened to harm him if he didn’t give them his wallet.  The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene on foot traveling westbound on Durant.  The victim was not injured during the encounter.  UCPD and BPD searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described by the victim as:

Suspects #1, #2, #3 & #4 – Black Males in their early 20’s, 5’6”-5’7” in height, wearing black “hoodies”.
