On Friday, July 21, 2006 a male pedestrian was walking along the 2400 block of Telegraph when he was suddenly surrounded by three young males.  The males threatened him, took his cash and then fled the scene.  The victim flagged down a BPD Patrol Officer who broadcasted a description of the suspects.  A few blocks away from where the robbery took place another BPD Officer spotted two males matching the description of the suspects.  BPD took them into custody and the victim positively identified them as two of the individuals involved in the robbery.  BPD and UCPD were unable to locate the third suspect.

The suspects were identified/described as:

Suspect #1 – A Black male, 17 years of age, 6’1” tall, 175 lbs., with a light complexion, black hair in dreadlocks, with brown eyes and sparse facial hair on his upper lip and chin.

Suspect #2 – A White male, 17 years of age, 6’0” tall, 145 lbs., a fair complexion, clean shaven, with brown buzz cut hair and green eyes, wearing a white shirt.

Suspect #3 –There is no description at this time.
