Aggravated Assault

Dana and Durant

July 10, 2006

On Friday, July 7, 2006, UCPD responded to the Tang Medical Center on a report of an aggravated assault.  The victim, a 19 year old White male, stated that at approximately 1:30 AM he had been walking southbound on Dana near Unit 3 when he was approached by a Black male walking northbound.  The suspect made a derogatory comment to the victim and then punched him in the face.  The victim fell to the ground where he was battered by at least two additional assailants.  The victim suffered significant injuries to his head, face and hands.

The victim described the suspects as:

Suspect #1 - A Black male, 18-22 years of age, 6’0” with corn-rows and a red shirt.

Suspects #2 & 3 – There is no description at this time.
