Auto Burglary


Frank Schlessinger Way


June 29, 2006

On June 28, 2006 at approximately 8:40 PM, an auto burglary occurred on the west end of Frank Schlessinger Way. An off duty UC Police Officer saw male juvenile rifling through a backpack while walking on Grinnell Pathway. The off duty officer phoned in to UC Police and updated their location. UCPD officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect, who was subsequently arrested for the crime.

The suspect admitted that he broke into the jeep and stole the backpack and other personal items.


The suspect arrested was:
Black male juvenile 16 years old, 5’04”, 130 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a gray T-shirt and blue sweat pants.
