Residential Burglary


Bowles Hall


May 10, 2006

On May 8, 2006, UCPD received a report of a burglary at Bowles Hall. The victim, a Hispanic male Cal student, had left his room at 9 PM and returned approximately one hour later. Upon his return to his room, he noticed that has laptop computer had been stolen. The suspect(s) gained access to the room via the residence’s entry doorway that was locked and was able to release the computer, which was secured with a cable and lock through the use of a key which was stored in the back of a drawer in the desk.

There is no description of the suspects(s) at this time.
