Armed Robbery


Channing Way & Fulton Street


May 9, 2006

On May 7, 2006 at about 11:49 PM, Berkeley Police responded to Channing and Fulton regarding a report of an armed robbery that had occurred about 10 or 15 minutes prior to the call. The male suspect approached the victim, a Cauacasion female Cal student, and her two female companions brandishing a black hand gun and demanded the victim’s personal property. The victim complied with the demand. The suspect then fled the scene westbound, possibly in a small square shaped compact vehicle. The victim was not harmed during the encounter. The Berkeley Police Department searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as:

A Black Male, 20 to 25 years old, 5'06", wearing a black beanie cap, black puffy jacket and blue jeans.
