Strong-Arm Robbery
College Avenue near Channing WayDecember 19, 2005
On December 19, 2005 at about 4:50AM, UCPD responded to the area of College Avenue and Channing Way regarding a robbery. The victims, three UCB students were approached by a male suspect demanding personal property; only one victim complied. The suspect was last seen running southbound on College Avenue; none of the victims were injured.
Both UC Police and Berkeley Police conducted an extensive area search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
The victims described the suspect as:
Black Male, 6'05", medium build, unshaven, wearing a black beanie and a black windbreaker jacket with the words "Echo Unlimited" printed on it, and dark pants.
