Robbery
2235 Channing WayDecember 16, 2005
On December 15, 2005 at about 12:15PM, Berkeley Police received a report of a robbery (purse snatch) that had just occurred in front of 2235 Channing Way. A male juvenile ran up to the victim from behind and grabbed her purse; the victim was not harmed. The suspect then ran to a waiting vehicle, driving off westbound on Channing Way.
The victim described the suspect as:
Suspect #1 – A Black Juvenile Male, 16 years, 6’00”, heavy build, dark complexion, short hair, wearing a black “hoodie” and blue jeans.
