Attempt Burglary
Recreation Sports FacilityDecember 2, 2005
On December 1, 2005, at about 4:10PM, UCPD officers responded to the Recreational Sports Facility (RSF) regarding an attempt burglary from a clothing locker. The witness stated he was in the men's locker room when he spotted an individual using a pair of bolt-cutters to break into a locker. The witness confronted the suspect and chased him through the main lobby and out the front doors. While exiting, the suspect ran into the main doors, shattering the glass. The suspect dropped a red duffel bag and got away. The bag contained bolt cutters and several pieces of clothing along with some identifying information that might help catch this individual.
The witness described the suspect as follows:
A Black male, 19-21 years old, 5’09”, 150lbs, wearing a white baseball cap, blue jacket, baggy blue jeans, and white athletic shoes. The suspect also had at least one gold front tooth.
