Strong-Arm Robbery
North Campus Near Haviland Hall October 31, 2005
On October 28, 2005 at about 8:00 PM, a UC Berkeley student became the victim of a strong-arm style robbery on the north side of campus near Haviland Hall. Six or Seven male suspects confronted the victim and forcibly took his personal property; the victim was not injured. All suspects left the area in an unknown direction of travel. Police searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them.
The victim described the suspects as follows:
Suspect #1 – A Black Male, 14-17 years, wearing a white hooded sweat shirt and dark pants
Suspects #2 - #7 – Black Male, 14-17 years, wearing dark baggie clothing
