Strong-Arm Robbery

Grinell Pathway (Near Center and Oxford Streets)October 11, 2005

On October 10, 2005 at about 9:30PM, a male subject was the victim of a strong-arm robbery on Grinnell Pathway. The victim was walking through the grove and had reached the midpoint of the pathway when he encountered a group of four males in their late teens. Two of the males immediately began punching the victim while demanding his property; the victim complied. The suspects fled westbound on the pathway and were last seen running into the alley next to Ben & Jerry's on Oxford Street. The victim was not injured and declined medical treatment.

Police searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.


The victims described the suspects as follows:

Suspect #1 – A White Male, 18-19 years, wearing a gray jacket and dark baggy jeans

Suspect #2 – A Black Male, 18-19 years, wearing a white t-shirt, black hat and baggy pants

Suspect #3 – A Black Male, 18-19 years

Suspect #4 – A Black Male, 18-19 years
