Assault with Deadly WeaponPeople's Park August 9, 2005
On August 8th, 2005, at about 5:45 PM, a man was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon in People’s Park. After a verbal altercation between the suspect and the victim, the suspect pulled a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was unsuccessful, and was then chased out of the park by bystanders.
The victim described the suspect as follows:
A Black Male, approximately 45 years old, 6' tall, heavy build, short hair, clean shaven, wearing a white sweatshirt with a CAL logo on the chest in blue letters, and tan pants.
