Auto Burglary

(Suspect Arrested)

Oxford St. and Addison St. July 13, 2005

On July 12, 2005 at about 1:30 AM, two individuals were the victims of a Auto Burglary in the area of Oxford St. and Addison St. The victims came in contact with the suspect inside their car. The suspect had stolen personal items from the victim’s car, and then fled eastbound across the west crescent. The victims flagged down a UCPD officer and reported the burglary.  UCPD officers were in the vicinity when the radio call came out and were able to detain a possible suspect.  The victims made a positive identification and the suspect was arrested for the crime.

The victim described the suspect as follows:

A Black Male, 48 years old, 5’-9”, 160 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, wearing a dark blue shirt, and black pants.
