Assault With a Deadly WeaponPeople’s ParkOctober 25, 2004

On October 24, 2004 at about 2:52 p.m, a man was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon in People’s Park. The assault occurred in the west end of People’s Park. Suspect #1 picked up a rock and threw it at the victim striking him on the right side of the head causing a 1-¼ inch laceration. The suspects then proceeded to punch the victim repeatedly .

The victim described the suspects as follows:

Suspect #1:  A black male 25 years old, 5’2” approximately 160 pounds wearing a black short sleeved shirt, baseball cap and blue jeans.

Suspect #2:  A black male 25 years old, 6’1” approximately 215 pounds wearing a dark pea coat and blue jeans with “twisty hair”.
