Hate CrimeVista Parking Lot (Lawrence Hall of Science)September 17, 2004
At approximately 10:30 P.M. on 9/16/04 a hate crime occurred at the Vista Parking Lot (Lawrence Hall of Science). Seven Muslim female students were confronted by three white males, who pulled up in a vehicle, stopping next to the females. The suspects threw water on the Muslim females and shouted racial epithets at the group.
UCPD officers responded and searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
The victims described all of the suspects as follows:
White males, 20 – 25 years old; vehicle used was a small, black 2-door with tinted windows
