Kidnap & Robbery
People's Park March 14, 2004
On March 14, 2004 at about 2:37AM, a man
was walking through People's Park when he was stopped by two men. The
men forced the victim into a vehicle and robbed him while driving to
a remote location. Suspect #2 drove the vehicle while Suspect #1 held
the victim in the back seat of the vehicle with a knife.The suspects
left the victim under a freeway near railroad tracks, close to San Pablo
Avenue in Oakland.
The victim described the suspects
as follows:
Suspect #1 - Black male, approximately
40 years old, 5'9" to 5'10" tall, muscular build, wearing
a black beanie type cap with closely shaved/cropped hair. Suspect wore
a black puffy jacket and stuck a black and silver-colored knife to the
victim's ribs.
Suspect #2 - Black male, approximately
32 years old, with very short hair (1/8 to 1/4" in length), wearing
clear "prescription" type, small lensed glasses.
Vehicle description - Unknown
make/model, dark green, four doors, tinted windows (except for front
windshield); partial license plate of 4XV_138.
