Carjacking, Kidnap & Robbery
(Suspect Arrested)
Dana and Haste Streets
February 2, 2004
On February 1, 2004 at about 9:20AM, an elderly woman was the victim of a car jacking, kidnap and robbery. The victim was walking near the intersection of Dana and Haste streets when a man approached her. The man forced the woman to take him to her vehicle, where, he forced her inside. The suspect made the victim drive with him to a local area bank, where the victim's ATM card was used to withdraw cash. The suspect drove the victim to a remote location before abandoning her and the vehicle. The victim received minor injuries during the commission of the crime.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 20-30 years, 5' 09" - 6' 00", medium build, dark complexion, clean shaven with short black hair, bad teeth (gaps between teeth), wearing a black cap, blue jeans and a dark "puffy" jacket. He was last seen leaving the scene on foot.
