Kidnap & Robbery
Bancroft & Telegraph Avenue

January 20, 2004

On January 25, 2004 at about 2:00AM, UCPD officer responded to 6701 San Pablo Avenue (Marchant Bldg.) to investigate a possible kidnap and robbery. The victim (non-University affiliate) said the crime occurred at Telegraph and Bancroft.

The suspect was described as a Black male, 30-40 years, medium build, shaved head, wearing black jeans and a short black nylon raincoat and has "bad teeth."   He was last seen leaving the scene on foot.

A search of the area for possible witnesses or suspects was conducted by UCPD, which yielded neither.
